Classes at LBS
Yay! I just checked out the web site for Got To Bead, my local bead store and she's got some photos of my work on the classes page, since I'll be teaching a few classes in March.
Mine are the Cellini Spiral, Peyote Links and Daisy Chain Vine bracelets. And just so you know, I didn't pick the colors for anything except the Peyote Links and the photos aren't my work either.

How exciting!

Well, this is my first post in my new blog. I have a personal blog over at LiveJournal, but I rarely write in there. My personal life isn't really all that interesting; a lot of what I do is the same old stuff I do every day. Nothing very interesting about working with clients or doing memes of random thoughts on everything from politics to movies. Boring.
So, I've decided to create a blog about my crafting stuff. Right now it's beading, sometimes it's quilting and sometimes it's a random thing that I've decided to take up for a short period of time. Maybe crochet, maybe -dare I say it- scrapbooking (gasp!).
But for the most part, I hope to chronicle my trials and tribulations of doing beadwork. From me, you can expect dialogue and diatribes, reviews of products and sellers and sometimes some pictures of whatever I feel like snapping a shot of, provided my husband isn't hoarding the camera for one of his projects. From you, I expect comments. Let me know you're out there. I mean, I live with my thoughts every day (scary, I know). I only write the blog for those who read it. :)
In related news, I bought my first item on Etsy today. It's a copy of BeadCreator Pro, ver. 3 (with a free upgrade). Once I play with it, I'll let y'all know how much I like it, because I fully anticipate having a great time goofing around with it. I have a terrific photo of my hometown, Portland, OR, taken at night with the lights reflecting off of the river. Now, I just need to save up some money for delicas because in order to make a cuff that would do the photo justice, I'm going to need about 40 colors of delicas. Maybe March will be a better month for me, and I'll be able to do the cuff before the anniversary trip in September (hubby and I will be hitting the big oh-five together).
